How the estimate works
Cost = built-up area × rate per sq ft for your city and quality. Material quantities use widely used site thumb rules per sq ft of built-up area: cement ≈ 0.4 bags, steel ≈ 4 kg, sand ≈ 1.8 cft, aggregate ≈ 1.35 cft, bricks ≈ 8 nos.
What is included
- Structure: excavation, foundation, RCC frame (columns, beams, slabs), brickwork – about 55%
- Finishing: plaster, flooring, tiles, paint, doors, windows – about 32%
- Electrical and plumbing – about 13%
Not included: land, plan approval and fees, interiors (modular kitchen, wardrobes), compound wall, borewell, solar.
